
Virginia Beach, VA (October 21, 2025) – A woman suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle late Saturday night in the 1300 block of Acredale Rd, not far from Kempsville Rd. The Virginia Beach Police Department responded to the scene shortly after the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who had been struck while walking in the area. Emergency medical personnel were quickly dispatched to provide on-site care. After assessing her condition, paramedics transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Police later confirmed that her injuries were not life-threatening and that she is expected to recover. Her name has not yet been released.
Firefighters assisted at the scene while officers temporarily shut down part of the roadway to allow for medical treatment and investigation. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and spoke with law enforcement. No additional injuries were reported, and no immediate citations or charges were announced in connection with the crash.
Investigators are continuing to review what may have caused the collision.
