
Richmond, VA (December 19, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident Thursday morning on Brookside Rd resulted in one person being injured and damage to a Dominion Energy utility pole. The incident occurred at around 8:22 a.m., prompting a rapid response from local fire and EMS units in the area.
Initial dispatch reports indicated that one of the vehicles collided with a power pole before striking a handicap-accessible bus. Fire crews from Engine 13 confirmed the utility damage upon arrival and relayed information about the affected pole—identified as PL56—to Dominion Energy for follow-up inspection and repair. Emergency crews secured the area and directed traffic to prevent further hazards as crews worked to address both the crash site and utility concerns.
