
Richmond, VA (December 19, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred early Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of W Broad St and Westmoreland St, leaving one person with minor injuries. The crash was reported shortly after 12:15 p.m., prompting a response from Richmond Fire and EMS units, including Engine 18.
On arrival, emergency crews found that a gray Kia and a black sedan had collided. Although both vehicles sustained only minor damage, one individual reported neck and back discomfort. The injured person was evaluated by medics at the scene and categorized as a “green” patient, indicating non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Traffic control measures were put in place while responders coordinated with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for shoulder clearance. Officials remained at the site for a short time to complete their assessment, manage the cleanup, and ensure safe travel conditions for other motorists.
