
Norfolk, VA (January 15, 2026) – An early-morning highway collision on Interstate 64 near Exit 284 Alpha in Norfolk left multiple occupants injured on Wednesday. The crash was reported at approximately 5:30 a.m., just as traffic was beginning to increase for the morning commute. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred along a busy stretch of the interstate, prompting a swift response to ensure safety and provide medical care.
Dispatchers classified the incident as a “Signal Four” crash, requesting assistance from both emergency medical teams and law enforcement officers. Upon arrival, medics discovered that the occupants involved were suffering from injuries described as affecting the head and chest. Emergency personnel administered immediate treatment at the scene before preparing both individuals for transport. They were later taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and continued care. Officials have not yet released updates regarding their current conditions.
