Fairfax County, VA (September 25, 2025) – A deadly motorcycle crash occurred early Wednesday morning on the I-495 northbound ramp leading to eastbound Route 50. Virginia State Police were called to the scene around 5:40 a.m. after reports of a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcyclist near the busy interchange.
Preliminary findings indicate the rider lost control while navigating the curve on wet pavement, ultimately striking a guardrail. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Despite the rapid response of emergency crews, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
