Bedford County, VA (July 3, 2025) – A major vehicle crash involving entrapment occurred Wednesday at the intersection of Rte 122 and White House Rd in Bedford County, triggering a large-scale emergency response. The incident prompted dispatches from Moneta Fire (Company 8), Bedford Fire (Company 1), Rescue 1, Moneta Rescue (Squad 8), and Bedford County Fire & Rescue.
Responders found one or more individuals trapped inside a heavily damaged vehicle and immediately began rescue efforts. Fire Medic 14-8 and supervisory teams from BCOFR worked with rescue squads to extricate the victims and administer emergency medical care on-site.
