Alleghany County, VA (May 15, 2025) – An early morning collision involving multiple vehicles resulted in injuries along a rural section of Kanawha Trail on Tuesday, prompting an emergency response from local fire and rescue teams in Alleghany County.
The crash occurred around 3:10 a.m. in a wooded area of Kanawha TRL, a narrow, winding route known for limited visibility and tight curves. Units from Company 6 Dunlap and Rescue 6 Dunlap were dispatched to the scene and operated under Ops 2 communications. First responders discovered three vehicles involved in the incident and provided immediate medical care to several injured individuals.
Those hurt in the crash were treated on-site before some were transported to nearby medical centers for additional treatment.
