Norfolk, VA (December 30, 2025) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported late Sunday morning along I-264 near the busy I-64 interchange in Norfolk. Emergency personnel were dispatched at approximately 11:46 a.m. to the westbound lanes near Exit 284 Alpha West.
Engine 4, Ladder 14, and Medic 11 responded to the scene where they found at least one person requiring medical attention. First responders treated the injured on site, though authorities have not yet released further details on the number of people hurt or the extent of the injuries sustained.
The collision occurred at one of the region’s major highway interchanges, causing notable traffic disruptions as crews worked to secure the area and assist the victims. Motorists were advised to proceed with caution and consider alternate routes during the response effort.
