
Norfolk, VA (October 17, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash caused injuries along westbound I-264 near Exit 14 Alpha and the I-64 eastbound off-ramp Wednesday morning, resulting in an emergency response from Norfolk Fire and EMS units.
The collision was reported around 9:26 a.m. on October 15. According to dispatch records, a woman involved in the crash reported back pain and was evaluated by medics at the scene. The crash took place in a high-traffic interchange zone frequently traveled by commuters connecting between I-264 and I-64.
State police were first on scene and coordinated with Norfolk Fire-Rescue. Engine 4, Ladder 10, and Medic 6 were dispatched and responded via Tactical Channel 6 to assist. Medics treated the injured woman on-site and provided additional care as needed. Officials have not confirmed whether the woman required hospital transport, and no other injuries or involved vehicle details were released.
Traffic near Exit 14 experienced delays as crews worked to secure the scene, clear any roadway obstructions, and ensure safe conditions in cooperation with VDOT. No information has been released regarding the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation by local authorities.
