
Newport News, VA (October 4, 2025) – A morning collision on Interstate 664 northbound near Exit 7 left one individual injured on October 3, prompting a coordinated response from emergency crews and state police. The crash involved a Kia Protege and was first reported around 6:59 a.m., according to dispatch information from Newport News Fire.
Multiple units responded swiftly to the scene. Reports from Suffolk authorities confirmed Virginia State Police were also notified and responded to assist with the investigation. One occupant of the Kia reported a neck injury—often associated with whiplash or strain from the impact—and was evaluated by paramedics.
